Vision Ag, Inc. was started in 2001 by Kim Emshwiller. Kim started buying fertlizer and chemicals for a handful of farmers whilevconducting agronomy work for them. Today Vision Ag, Inc. has grown into a full service fertilizer and chemical retail facility. Through working with farmers and landowners in the retail business Kim saw a need for a farm management service focusing on agronomy as well as financial components. In 2004 Kim founded Vision Ag Farm Management Services, LLC and has been fulfilling needs of landowners and producers.
Farm management services range from occasional consultations to complete operational farm management. Complete farm management would include the following:
- Familiarization of farm, owner, operator and specific needs.
- Identifying the expectations and qoals of the farm.
- Explore lease alternatives and income potential of each alternative.
- (Choosing) the best qualified operator and negotation lease agreements.
- Inplementing crop rotations and tillage practices within the the operation.
- Develop crop input plans - determining chemicals, ferilizers, and seed to be used.
- Complete field scouting - scouting problem areas during the growing season and implementing plan of action.

- Complete accounting and recordkeeping of all farm operations. Our information system maintains an accurate record of all financial transactions. Periodic reports are sent detailing all information. Cash flow needs are invested in competitively secure banks.

- Insure soil stewardship and environmental safety is always being conducted.
